Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Installer (Contract) for its Mobile Manufacturing Site production team. In this temporary position, you will be responsible for completing electrical installations and connections on aircraft, including Basic Aircraft, Cabin, Cockpit, and Cargo installations, as well as Ground Test procedures.
What You'll Do
- Perform tests and inspections, including preparing and changing programs, checking system functions, inspecting earth connections, and performing continuity and ground tests.
- Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and document all results in the SAP system.
- Install and produce electrical components at the station according to work orders, including collecting, reading, comparing, and setting up materials.
- Prepare electrical components by marking, laying, connecting, assembling, bundling, painting, and soldering parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
- Adapt, torque, and secure electrical components such as equipment panels and printed circuit boards, documenting all work and queries.
- Manage the sequencing and performance of work to ensure successful results.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to complete Airbus-provided trainings: Health & Safety, General aircraft familiarization, and Quality training.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation or an equivalent industry.
Nice to Have
- A degree as an electronic technician or 5 years of valuable experience on test benches.
- Completion of a technology certification training program from a post-secondary institution or previous employer.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aviation production.
Technical Stack
- SAP system for documentation and workflow.
Team & Environment
You will join the production team at the Airbus Mobile Manufacturing Site, which assembles A220 and A320 Family aircraft.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Mobile, AL.
