RMF Engineering is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Atlanta, GA office. This role focuses on producing electrical construction documents using Revit for a diverse range of commercial building projects, including higher education, healthcare, laboratories, public safety, and hospitality facilities.
What You'll Do
- Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules.
- Low voltage infrastructure design for IT and security systems.
- Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls; and lighting calculations.
- Low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security and controls.
- Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop.
- Performing field surveys and construction phase support.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing electrical building systems for higher education, laboratory, public safety, hospitality, and/or healthcare projects.
- Strong, hands-on experience developing electrical construction documents in Revit.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
