Responsibilities
- Create electrical design drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, covering lighting plans, power layouts, panel schedules, and one-line diagrams, from initial design to final permit-ready documents
- Execute electrical calculations such as load assessments, conductor and breaker sizing, voltage drop analysis, and panel sizing to ensure designs are accurate and meet code requirements
- Adapt designs for specific store locations by interpreting client prototypes and standards, ensuring alignment with site conditions and local regulations
- Collaborate with Engineers of Record and other designers during the design process, integrating feedback through multiple quality control rounds until final approval
- Assist in construction administration by addressing RFIs, reviewing permit feedback, and coordinating design adjustments with contractors and engineering staff
- Perform occasional site surveys and field assessments, typically two to four times annually, each lasting two to four days, to document existing conditions for remodel projects
- Engage in various electrical design scopes, developing expertise in areas matching personal interests and strengths
