About the Role
The engineer will support the design and documentation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Produce electrical designs and schematics for building infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate electrical systems
- Ensure designs comply with Latvian and applicable international codes
- Perform load calculations and circuit analysis for power distribution
- Develop single-line diagrams and panel schedules
- Support project documentation and construction administration
- Review contractor submittals and respond to requests for information
- Assist in the selection of electrical equipment and components
- Coordinate with permitting authorities and utility providers
- Maintain accurate design records and project files
- Participate in design meetings and client presentations
- Conduct field observations during construction phases
- Optimize designs for energy efficiency and sustainability
- Use design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering practices
