At Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA), we are innovating today to power the devices of tomorrow. We are looking for an Electrical Control Room Supervisor to oversee our plant control rooms and electrical teams. You will ensure safety compliance and continuous reliability by managing SCADA monitoring, alarms, and equipment settings to optimize performance.
What You'll Do
- Provide guidance to control room operators and electricians, ensuring they follow safety and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely project completion, and successful troubleshooting to maintain reliability and redundancy.
- Use control systems like SCADA to monitor indicators for potential issues, escalate conditions of risk, and respond promptly to alarms and abnormal readings.
- Take corrective actions to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Adjust equipment parameters, and/or start or stop equipment to maximize efficiency within specifications.
- Manage achievement of operational objectives and key results using relevant KPIs while developing staff competency and growth.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ years of experience with SCADA, high to medium voltage operations, and outage management
- Knowledge of complex switching, lockout, tagging and load monitoring procedures
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E as it applies to industrial installations
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution system and single line diagrams
Nice to Have
- Some college or trade school
- OSHA 10 certificate
