nVent is hiring an Electrical Assembler to support our Trachte facility in Hitchcock, TX. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for installing wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment, applying your technical knowledge to build critical systems.
What You'll Do
- Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment.
- Apply knowledge of all types of electrical conduit to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install.
- Splice wires and/or terminate wires to lighting, power and control equipment.
- Connect power cables to equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to drive to the same location everyday in Oregon, WI.
Nice to Have
- Commercial/Industrial Experience preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge of switchgear integration is helpful.
Technical Stack
- Knowledge of all types of electrical conduit.
- Familiarity with 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems.
- Possess a working knowledge of the NEC.
