What You'll Do
In this role, you will shape and support the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) framework across global operations within a high-performance aerospace environment. You'll travel internationally to assess, guide, and strengthen site-level EHS systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
You'll lead the development and delivery of specialized training programs, conduct technical reviews of procedures, and support emergency planning and hazardous materials management. Your work will include evaluating site performance, identifying skill gaps, and recommending improvements to both practices and resources.
Collaboration is central to this position. You'll partner with EHS teams at all levels, adapt tools for local implementation, and provide expert input during equipment or process changes. You’ll also support audit responses, lead communication initiatives, and contribute to corporate-wide compliance reviews.
Requirements
A Bachelor of Science in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering—or a related field—is required. You must bring at least five years of hands-on EHS compliance experience, with demonstrated knowledge in emergency planning, environmental regulations, or dangerous goods transportation.
Strong technical communication skills are essential, including the ability to explain complex regulations to diverse audiences. You should be comfortable providing off-hours support during emergencies and willing to travel globally, with 16–20 trips annually expected. A commitment to fostering safer workplace cultures and guiding long-term improvement projects is critical.
