Huron Consulting Group Inc. is hiring an Education Research Manager, Recruitment Analytics to lead the development and application of predictive models that inform higher education enrollment and institutional financial aid strategy. You will translate complex analytics into actionable insights, empowering clients to drive innovation and deliver better student outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and application of predictive models for higher education enrollment and financial aid strategy.
- Translate complex analytical work into clear, actionable insights for institutional senior leaders.
- Provide technical and project leadership across client engagements and internal product development initiatives.
- Guide teams and partners from problem definition through implementation.
What We're Looking For
- Current U.S. work authorization is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience building predictive models or machine learning systems in an applied analytics environment.
- Experience working at or with higher education institutions.
- Strong proficiency in statistical modeling and modern machine learning methods.
- Fluency with Python, R, SQL, or comparable tools.
- Demonstrated project management and delivery ownership.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Nice to Have
- Master’s or PhD in statistics, economics, data science, or a related field.
- Prior consulting or client-facing analytics experience.
- Experience analyzing financial aid data and key enrollment management metrics.
