Disney is looking for an Editor/Senior Editor, Asset Management and Technology to join our APAC Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will be the point of expertise for UHD and Dolby Atmos workflows, ensuring content meets the technical standards for broadcast and streaming platforms like Disney+.
What You'll Do
- Manage and support end-to-end UHD (4K/HDR) and Dolby Atmos workflows for broadcast and streaming platforms.
- Apply and uphold QC standards to ensure UHD and audio assets comply with all delivery specifications.
- Configure and maintain technical setups for UHD and audio processing.
- Establish and maintain best practices for UHD and audio quality assurance.
- Perform technical and content quality control, troubleshooting and resolving issues prior to delivery.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to teams to build UHD capability.
- Perform all aspects of editing work, including program mastering and formatting.
- Conduct Standard and Practice editing on video and audio files based on censorship reports.
- Conform foreign language dub tracks to match video.
- Perform digital conversions for various components, frame rates, and format types per distribution needs.
- Control the logistic flow to ensure timely delivery of all publishing and distribution materials.
- Control and approve the quality of incoming and processed media files, including subtitle and dubbing materials.
- Capture and record technical data related to assets, including timecode and QC results.
- Maintain data accuracy in all operational application systems.
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist in tracking operational problems, investigating issues, and providing solutions.
- Ensure all standard operational procedures are maintained and up-to-date.
- Stay updated on industry trends to understand their impact on business operations.
What We're Looking For
- ITE/Diploma/Degree in video production, media studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1–3 years of related working experience in the broadcast or media industry.
- Proficiency in video/audio editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid ProTools.
- Expertise with production/post-production workflows and UHD, HDR, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos technologies.
- Experience with Colorfront QC Player, Transkoder, and the Vantage transcoding engine to create profiles.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and positive attitude towards work.
- Able to prioritize effectively and adapt flexibly to different tasks.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of various OTT platforms.
- Proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese languages.
