Memorial Healthcare System is hiring an Echocardiography Manager to manage the daily operations of our comprehensive Adult Echocardiography service line in Hollywood, Florida. You will lead staff and coordinate patient care to ensure alignment with our organizational objectives and our unwavering commitment to The Memorial Experience.
What You'll Do
- Determine, coordinate, and manage daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
- Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations.
- Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
- Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagement.
- Perform advanced diagnostic imaging, including 3D, myocardial mechanics, and imaging for mechanical circulatory support devices and transcatheter therapies, serving as a trainer and expert resource.
- Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
- Assist with departmental QA/QI initiatives and equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee inventory and justify needs for systems, equipment, and supplies.
- Communicate regularly with department director(s) to determine future needs, concerns, and issues.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound imaging program.
- Five (5) years of adult imaging experience in a hospital setting.
- Registered as a diagnostic cardiac sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR registered cardiac sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI).
