Arista Networks is hiring an ECAD Application Engineer to build engineering tools and processes for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Data Management (PDM). You will develop deep expertise on ECAD tools and their applications, staying current with industry trends to become a subject matter expert for our Electrical Engineering community.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on support for end users utilizing strong problem-solving skills and tool expertise.
- Evaluate new features and functions within existing or potential ECAD tools to judge their potential benefits.
- Work with ECAD tool vendors to resolve issues with vendor-supplied code, and advocate for enhancements and bug fixes.
- Evangelize and drive adoption of ECAD tools through process development and training.
- Define best practices through documentation and requirements definition for development of ECAD automation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience identifying engineering use-cases and defining requirements for software development.
- CAD Tool expertise such as Cadence Schematic Capture tools, Cadence Allegro, Cadence Pulse, Cadence ACC, Cadence Skill Programming, Perforce, Egnyte, Agile.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the following technologies would be a plus: Python, Golang, C/C++, TCL, JSON, MySQL, Linux, Windows NT.

- Compensation range: $127,000 to $167,000 + equity.
