African Safari Group is looking for an Eastern Africa Luxury Travel Consultant to join our team. This fully remote role is 100% focused on direct-to-client and lodge coordination, with no B2B sales. You will be responsible for designing personalized luxury travel experiences and ensuring seamless communication between high-net-worth clients and our partner lodges and camps.
What You'll Do
- Design and sell bespoke luxury safari and travel experiences in East Africa.
- Work directly with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations.
- Liaise directly with lodges, camps, and local partners to ensure flawless travel arrangements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service throughout the travel process.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and travel regulations.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the team’s overall success.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a luxury travel consultant, preferably specializing in East Africa.
- In-depth knowledge of East African destinations, lodges, camps, safaris, and experiences.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on direct-to-client luxury travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for travel, wildlife, and delivering outstanding client experiences.
Nice to Have
- Multilingual skills are a plus (French, German, or Spanish).
- Experience with luxury travel booking platforms and CRM systems.
