About the Role

The Toro Company seeks an e-Commerce Specialist for the Residential and Landscape Contractor (RLC) division to elevate digital content and maximize sales conversions across key retail accounts. This results-driven role blends marketing and sales to support and refine online content strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead initiatives to optimize product content across key accounts, ensuring best-in-class digital presentation for increased sales conversion.
  • Support content development and conversion strategies, refining product descriptions, specs, imagery, landing pages, and display assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align digital content with sales goals and key account strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance and conversion analytics to guide data-driven content improvements.
  • Regularly audit e-commerce platforms to ensure accuracy, currency, and quality of content, resolving errors and ensuring proper merchandising.
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends and retailer-specific content guidelines to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders for seamless execution of online content initiatives.
  • Own SEO best practices across PDPs, storefronts, A+ content, and brand store experiences, testing and refining based on performance.
  • Analyze competitive trends, search dynamics, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and optimization gaps.
  • Contribute to A/B testing plans for content variations to measure conversion impact.
  • Collaborate on content calendars for campaigns and promotions, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across retailer platforms.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or sales enablement, preferably for major retail accounts.
  • 2-3 years of success optimizing online content for improved sales conversion, particularly on Amazon and other retailer platforms.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, including search term optimization, CTR/conversion levers, keyword hierarchy, and competitive intelligence.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics and e-commerce reporting tools.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills with keen attention to detail in digital presentation.
  • Strong project management capabilities, able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts like PPC, SEO, social media, display, and affiliate channels.
  • Understanding of UX, web design, customer flow, and web analysis.
  • Confidence in attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, and traffic analysis.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Sitecore, Optimizely, Syndigo, Salsify, InRiver, Asana, SAP, Microsoft Suite, or similar software.

Team & Environment

You’ll work with the Toro RLC brand marketing and operations team, collaborating with key channel partners and a wide variety of internal teams including marketing, retail and sales channels, and business segments.
