Responsibilities
- Investigate e-commerce brands, products, competitors, and market landscapes
- Examine competitor advertisements, messaging, offers, and creative approaches
- Study customer psychology, including pain points, desires, objections, and buying motivations
- Explore customer reviews, comments, forums, social media, and other voice-of-customer sources
- Identify recurring patterns in customer thinking, language, and purchase decisions
- Apply internal research templates and frameworks to organize findings
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate research, structure data, and detect patterns
- Distinguish valuable insights from generic or irrelevant information
- Document research clearly so strategists can quickly comprehend and apply it
- Include relevant sources and supporting evidence in documentation
- Communicate gaps, questions, or significant findings to the strategist
- Complete research projects accurately and within the expected timeframe
