Avolta is looking for a Duty Free Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maximize sales within our luxury retail airport environment at John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 6.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to achieving store goals using customer service and product knowledge skills.
- Deliver the highest Customer Service standards, exceeding customer expectations and acting as a brand ambassador.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and maximize sales by efficiently receiving product deliveries and restocking the store.
- Operate a cash register efficiently, including Credit Card transactions.
- Follow company policies, including cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
- Inform management about pricing, inventory, and out-of-date issues.
- Protect company assets and stock merchandise in the store and backroom.
- Keep the store clean by sweeping, dusting, organizing merchandise, and taking out the trash.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse personalities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- At least 6 months of luxury retail experience.
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.
- Capability to lift 40-60 pounds.
