Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes seeks a Division Head (Geschäftsbereichsleitung) for Human Resources and Legal to lead this critical function for our Nord branch office. This senior leadership role carries full responsibility for your division, driving HR and legal strategy within the federal autobahn company.
What You'll Do
- Assume disciplinary and professional leadership for all employees within the HR and Legal division.
- Perform personnel development tasks for your subordinate staff.
- Coordinate and implement processes and manage interfaces for the division.
- Collaborate with other divisions on cross-cutting topics and coordinate your departments in implementing cross-divisional activities.
- Define the division's tasks and strategic projects, including budget responsibility.
- Report on task completion and goal achievement to branch management and the Autobahn GmbH headquarters.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and experience exchange, supported by knowledge management systems.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed university degree in law, business administration with an HR focus, or a comparable qualification based on knowledge and experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a leadership role within HR or law.
- Very good knowledge of individual and collective labor law.
- Proven experience providing legal advice to senior leadership at a strategic level.
- Very good spoken and written German language skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior HR experience within the context of public employers.
- Involvement in designing or implementing leadership development programs.
- Proven experience managing cross-divisional strategic projects.

This is a Division Head role within the Nord branch office, reporting to branch management and the headquarters of Autobahn GmbH.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at the Niederlassung Nord.
