Trane Technologies is hiring a District Sales Manager to lead sales growth and dealer performance across a defined territory in the Northeast. You will shape and execute district-level sales strategies, coach dealer representatives, and drive strong financial performance across a diverse network of accounts.
What You'll Do
- Train, coach, and develop dealers to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the annual operating plans for the district, including regular updates.
- Develop profitable business with new and existing customers through the dealer distribution channel.
- Utilize a solid understanding of customer business to assess needs and suggest Thermo King solutions.
- Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information and industry trends, to internal stakeholders.
- Follow and coach the sales process to ensure excellent customer experience and maintain pipeline and forecast management.
- Monitor KPIs and sales metrics using tools like Tableau to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Report regularly on district performance, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy to the Regional Director.
- Build strong relationships with end users/owners in conjunction with dealer support.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent preferred.
- Five years of sales experience, including sales coaching and product training.
- Experience managing to Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and directing product pipeline and forecasting processes.
- Territory management skills and the ability to prioritize key activities that drive revenue.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean record and be eligible to travel to Canada.
Nice to Have
- Experience in refrigeration or HVAC sales.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.

- Compensation range: $96,000 - $224,000.
