The Children's Place was looking for a District Manager Houston W

The Children's Place is hiring a District Manager (Houston W) to lead store management teams and drive profitable sales growth throughout a geographic region. You will have full accountability for the key financial results of your district, overseeing overall leadership and development.

What You'll Do

  • Create and maintain a diverse, high-performing store management team through consistent selection, development, and motivation.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and overall direction of accountabilities to meet district and regional goals.
  • Effectively communicate business and financial objectives.
  • Analyze district performance to deliver appropriate feedback to regional director.
  • Develop a district sales strategy that ensures profitable growth.
  • Lead store teams to meet sales and payroll budgets through appropriate execution.
  • Foster a selling culture throughout the district, ensuring a positive customer experience that meets and exceeds expectations.
  • Articulate the vision and ensure execution of brand visual standards consistently.
  • Partner with Loss Prevention to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and proactively identify trends to achieve shrink goals.
  • Cultivate an environment of open communication and drive performance management and development of associates.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of multi-unit experience in retail.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to create competitive and innovative strategies and plans.
  • Proven track record of selecting high-performing talent and developing compelling development plans.
  • Ability to articulately and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex financial reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to additional internal applications.
  • Ability to facilitate and present programs, processes, and concepts to groups of managers.
  • Broad knowledge and perspective of retail landscape and ability to accurately identify trends.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate entire teams or organizations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
