Dispatcher - Residential Skilled Trades
Organize and manage daily service appointments for HVAC technicians serving residential customers. This role is central to ensuring timely responses, efficient routing, and accurate scheduling using integrated dispatch and service platforms. You'll coordinate incoming requests, assign jobs based on location and availability, and keep both field staff and customers informed throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and adjust service calls to meet customer time windows and optimize technician productivity
- Monitor dispatch systems and service flow to respond quickly to changes or delays
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers to confirm appointments and share updates
- Adjust schedules in real time to resolve conflicts, accommodate emergencies, and maintain efficiency
- Maintain precise scheduling records and support daily operational reporting
What You’ll Need
- Experience in dispatch, scheduling, or call center operations
- Familiarity with field service coordination, especially in HVAC or home services
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
- Strong grasp of local geography to support smart routing decisions
- Ability to work onsite daily with flexibility for evenings and weekend shifts
- Passing a background check and drug screening is required
Compensation & Benefits
Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates with relevant dispatch experience. Weekly direct deposit ensures timely pay.
