Revolution Medicines is hiring a Director, Stakeholder Engagement Strategy & Operations to lead our global advisory board strategy and congress planning. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless integration of scientific engagement activities across the U.S., EU, and APAC regions, supporting our commitment to patients with cancers driven by RAS pathway mutations.
What You'll Do
- Oversee Medical Affairs advisory board strategy and operations, integrating with global congress planning.
- Collaborate across Medical Affairs to develop and align global and regional tactical plans with broader priorities.
- Ensure compliant planning, execution, and documentation of all advisory boards aligned with medical strategy.
- Develop and execute processes for compliant cross-functional sharing of advisory board insights.
- Partner with internal teams to design impactful advisory board agendas and content.
- Oversee logistical planning for advisory board execution, including vendor management.
- Track and manage budgets and vendor relationships for advisory board activities.
- Collaborate on Medical Affairs planning for priority congresses in the U.S., EU, and APAC, ensuring global consistency with regional adaptation.
- Deliver medical leadership for congress activities including medical booths, symposia, and scientific sessions.
- Partner with Commercial, Clinical Development, and Research to ensure consistent communication while maintaining governance.
- Act as the central coordination point for cross-functional teams on advisory board priorities and messaging.
- Lead operational planning, budgeting, and vendor management for advisory boards.
- Ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, PMDA, EFPIA, IFPMA).
- Establish best practices, SOPs, and governance processes for advisory board execution.
- Capture and disseminate advisory board insights in collaboration with Medical Affairs Insights & Analytics.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, PhD or equivalent in life sciences).
- 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within biotech/pharma.
- 5+ years of experience in global congress strategy and operations.
- Proven track record in leading global and regional advisory boards across U.S., EU, and APAC regions.
- Strong understanding of the oncology therapeutic landscape, particularly pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and colorectal cancer.
- Deep knowledge of compliance standards governing global congresses and scientific exchange.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and operational processes related to congresses and advisory boards.
Nice to Have
- Experience in early/late-phase development and product launch preparation in oncology.
- Prior leadership of global advisory boards strategy alignment.
- Experience working in fast-paced, innovative, clinical-stage biotech organizations.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Head of Scientific Stakeholder Engagement within the Global Medical Excellence team.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $201,000—$251,000 USD.
Work Mode
This is a remote position based in the United States, with a preferred location near Redwood City, CA.
