About the Role

BrandSafway is seeking a Director, Regional Commercial Sales to lead our growth and strategic direction within a key market segment. You will be responsible for analyzing the market, setting the overall strategy, and driving a robust sales pipeline across your assigned region.

What You'll Do

  • Lead market analysis and set the overall strategy for the assigned industrial or commercial segment, driving the development of a robust growth pipeline within the region.
  • Cascade the overarching strategy and operationalize its implementation across the region to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Identify and forecast sales opportunities, including underserved markets, in collaboration with regional and local teams.
  • Coach and develop Sales Managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive team success.
  • Manage team performance to meet or exceed defined targets and key performance measures.
  • Mentor and cultivate key sales talent within the region to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Ensure the effective integration of product subject matter experts (SMEs) to support sales representatives in delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and act as a role model within the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development initiatives to accelerate time to proficiency and improve team effectiveness.
  • Ensure team adherence to established sales processes, standards, and protocols.
  • Review reports and dashboards to monitor performance, measure the impact of initiatives, and derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with Region, Division, and Company leadership to align objectives and address strategic priorities.
  • Navigate internal and external economic factors, such as cost management, margins, and ROI, to ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Engage directly with clients, including C-suite executives, to address business challenges, provide solutions, and develop mitigation plans as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing regional or multi-regional sales teams
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic growth plans, particularly within industrial or commercial sales segments
  • Experience mentoring and developing leaders, with a focus on coaching and succession planning
  • Expertise in analyzing market trends, forecasting sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth in diverse and underserved markets
  • Familiarity with integrating subject matter experts (SMEs) into sales processes to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate high-level goals into actionable regional strategies
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to build high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and internal stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging sales dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting tools to inform decision-making
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing complex sales operations and multiple priorities
  • Deep understanding of sales principles, market dynamics, and economic factors affecting industrial or commercial sales segments
  • Results-oriented leader with a focus on delivering measurable impact and achieving targets
  • Adaptable and forward-thinking, with the ability to navigate changing economic and market conditions
  • Collaborative team player who fosters alignment across regional, divisional, and company leadership
  • Role model of ethical conduct, professionalism, and accountability within the organization
