Torc is hiring a Director, Product Management - Virtual Driver

About the Role

Torc is looking for a Director of Product Management to serve as a subject matter expert for our Virtual Driver product. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and supporting the development of a product that meets customer needs and drives business value.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a shared product vision and roadmap in collaboration with engineering managers, domain experts, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with systems and engineering teams to execute the roadmap, unblock progress, and re-prioritize as needed.
  • Analyze on-road data and performance metrics to focus on the highest impact issues and re-prioritize accordingly.
  • Advocate for and develop new or more comprehensive metrics as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the engineering team and stakeholders to gather user requirements, build product requirements, and communicate clearly.
  • Develop or improve processes to ensure cross-functional alignment between teams and projects.
  • Communicate roadmap and priorities clearly to stakeholders across the entire company.
  • Collaborate with strategy, engineering, system design, program management, marketing, and other teams to bring products to market that solve user needs and meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to organize stakeholders, manage dependencies, communicate status, and execute efficiently.
  • Create long-term and short-term product goals, forecasts, and analyses for management and teams.
  • Lead the product management aspect of Autonomy Software, Planning, and Execution, including active participation in PI Planning and prioritization of team efforts.
  • Ensure safety and quality are implemented and that the deployed product delivers value, focusing on incremental deliveries aligned to the roadmap.
  • Be responsible for Autonomy Software Product Definition, support internal audits, define milestones, and guide the organization.
  • Participate in Iteration Reviews and Solution Demos to evaluate progress against plans for Autonomy Software Readiness.
  • Ensure Autonomy Software development aligns with business strategy, economic goals, and commitments.
  • Supervise a team of product managers, guiding them to set, track, and achieve goals aligned with company-wide vision and initiatives.
  • Provide up-to-date guidance and direction to employees to ensure compliance.
