Axon is looking for a Director, Product Finance to collaborate across finance and business teams, driving process improvement, strategic decisions, and enhanced forecasting. You'll support a dynamic business team solving challenging customer problems, enabling strategic growth and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Apply business and financial acumen to support operational and financial decision makers with data, analysis, metrics, and process creation.
- Support product roadmap prioritization based on profit contribution and engineering resource constraints.
- Model new product design iterations and develop business cases for new products and features.
- Drive regular cost reduction, headcount, and budget reviews to ensure alignment to company plan.
- Support the corporate forecasting process for R&D and product spend and present results to R&D leaders.
- Support the company-wide Strategic Portfolio Planning Process by assisting in creating Investment Business Cases.
- Support product teams in holistic analysis of market and P&L performance for key product segments.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics in a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of owning projects and driving their completion cross-functionally.
- Experience driving process improvements focused on quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently with concern for quality and deadlines.
- Data analysis and dynamic scenario modeling with emphasis on validating modeling inputs and assumptions.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial leaders.
- Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Compensation Range: $166,950 — $267,120 USD.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position open to candidates in San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, and Scottsdale.
