About the Role

DaVita is hiring a Director, Person-Centered Care Strategy and Innovation to lead critical initiatives aimed at reducing outcome disparities within our patient population. You will act as a leader, strategist, and internal consultant, working on high-visibility efforts to embed person-centered care into our operations.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with clinical teammates and build long-standing relationships with operators, clinicians, and others.
  • Leverage a hypotheses-based approach to identify, validate, quantify, and build buy-in around opportunities with clinical and business leadership.
  • Oversee teammate(s) work, provide coaching, and develop team culture.
  • Analyze data, provide insights, and structure presentations to tell a meaningful story and drive decision making.
  • Independently assess opportunities and define work plans.
  • Engage with teammates across DaVita to foster alignment and integrate person-centered care vision into their work.
  • Operate as an internal subject matter expert to support various teams and consult on person-centered care approaches.
  • Leverage continuous improvement tools to structure and incubate improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and coordinate new initiatives from idea generation to implementation, including program design, pilot support, and evaluation.
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to make meaningful policy and advocacy recommendations.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in strategy and operations within healthcare.
  • Dedication to caring for patients with chronic kidney failure.
  • Demonstrated passion for empowering every patient to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Strong sense of accountability and a passion for owning, organizing, and driving multiple projects to completion.
  • Ability to engage directly with and influence senior-level executives, teammates of different backgrounds, and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous problems, think creatively, and generate and test hypotheses.
  • Team leadership skills with the ability to delegate work, build consensus, and manage, develop, and mentor team members.

  • Comfortable creating storylines in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively convey information to senior management and teammates of all backgrounds.
  • Ability to interpret data and trends to assess performance and opportunities.
  • An awareness and appreciation of the spectrum of circumstances DaVita patients face.
  • High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel ~25%, with some periods of heavier travel.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in dialysis clinic operations.

  • Compensation range: $110,100.00 - $161,700.00 per year.

Work Mode

This is a remote position. A location in Denver, CO is preferred.
