The Director of Utility Partnerships plays a pivotal role in advancing GridCARE’s mission by forging and managing high-impact relationships with utility providers. This position drives the development of commercial agreements that unlock underutilized grid capacity, enabling scalable AI infrastructure deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between GridCARE and utility organizations, representing the company across executive and operational levels
- Develop and manage a growing pipeline of utility contacts, identifying opportunities aligned with evolving energy demands and grid constraints
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements that deliver mutual value, ensuring alignment with organizational revenue and strategic goals
- Translate utility challenges into actionable insights for internal teams, influencing product development and technical roadmaps
- Articulate a clear and compelling value proposition tailored to utility stakeholders, addressing regulatory, operational, and financial considerations
- Engage in industry events and forums to strengthen GridCARE’s presence and deepen sector relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partnership strategies with broader market and technological trends
Qualifications
Candidates must bring at least eight years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic alliances within the utility or energy technology space. A demonstrated history of securing utility contracts and delivering measurable revenue growth is essential. Deep knowledge of utility operations, regulatory frameworks, and interconnection challenges is required.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities are critical, as is an established network within the utility sector. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory; advanced or technical degrees are advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a total compensation package including a base salary range of $185,000–$285,000 annually, performance-based bonus, and equity.
