The Director of Sales, West Coast will lead and scale high-performing sales teams across the Central-West coast regions of the US, driving significant revenue growth for EvenUp. This role involves shaping national sales strategy, coaching Sales Managers and Account Executives, and collaborating with Customer Success and Sales Development to optimize win rates, retention, and pipeline growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue growth targets, elevate win rates, and optimize sales processes across all territories.
- Provide visionary leadership and coaching to a team of Sales Managers and a large team of Account Executives, fostering a high-performance culture focused on exceeding individual and team quotas while ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional sales experiences.
- Collaborate strategically with Customer Success leadership to develop and implement initiatives focused on maximizing customer retention, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring a seamless customer journey from prospect to go-live.
- Design and implement effective territory management strategies and action plans, ensuring optimal market coverage and resource allocation to capitalize on key opportunities and drive consistent results.
- Analyze sales performance data and market trends to identify areas for improvement, refine strategies, and provide insightful reporting to executive leadership on key performance indicators and progress against goals.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of 7+ years in progressive sales leadership roles, with significant experience managing and scaling large, direct sales teams (ideally nationwide) and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies and processes that have resulted in measurable improvements in revenue growth, win rates, and overall sales performance.
- Deep understanding of full-cycle sales processes and CRM systems, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and optimize sales effectiveness.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and talent development skills, with a proven ability to build, motivate, and retain high-performing sales teams in a dynamic and competitive environment.
- Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to understand market dynamics, develop compelling value propositions, and contribute to overall business strategy.
