Responsibilities
- Lead operations at two Ohio facilities with full profit and loss responsibility.
- Oversee fulfillment, distribution, assembly, inventory, and support functions to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Develop and implement site-specific strategies that support company-wide operational objectives and readiness for peak periods.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as safety, quality, productivity, service levels, throughput, and cost efficiency.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a multi-site leadership team focused on operational excellence.
- Promote a workplace culture rooted in accountability, employee engagement, inclusion, and ongoing improvement.
- Plan and manage staffing needs to accommodate seasonal demand changes.
- Ensure leadership continuity through robust succession planning and development programs.
- Apply Lean methodologies to identify and execute improvements in efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
- Standardize processes and share best practices across both locations.
- Use performance data to optimize labor utilization, workflow balance, and order accuracy.
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety policies.
- Uphold strict quality control and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ensure operations meet company policies, food safety standards where relevant, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with departments including Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and Customer Service to align end-to-end operations.
- Support strategic projects such as network optimization, peak season planning, and capital expenditure planning.
- Serve as the main point of contact between site operations and executive leadership for performance reporting and strategic initiatives.
