Lead the operational direction of a network of dental practices within a designated territory, ensuring alignment between clinical teams, business goals, and long-term sustainability. As a key advisor to practice owners and executive leadership, you will shape decisions that impact performance, team development, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with practice owners and leadership to guide operational strategy and decision-making
- Monitor and interpret performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans
- Assess current practice operations and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, patient experience, and team effectiveness
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in all interactions, setting the standard for client and team engagement
- Coach and develop practice leaders, identifying strengths and growth areas to build strong management capabilities
- Support recruitment and retention efforts in partnership with HR to build high-performing teams
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new team members into the practice culture
- Train and audit operational staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistent delivery of best practices
- Respond quickly to performance gaps with corrective actions while building long-term strategic plans
- Work with corporate departments to create scalable programs that support growth and efficiency
- Manage projects using structured charters and deliver updates tailored to different stakeholders
- Ensure team compliance with training, performance reviews, and organizational requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years managing operations across multiple locations
- At least 5 years of direct experience in dental office management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to delegate effectively and manage remote teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with remote flexibility, requiring regular travel across Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Up to half of your time will be spent on-site at various practices.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life coverage, long- and short-term disability, generous paid time off, paid holidays, Traditional and Roth 401(k) options, and a referral bonus program.
