MaintainX is hiring a Director of Growth to lead our next phase of growth. This high-impact, highly visible leadership role puts you at the center of our growth engine—owning acquisition, onboarding, activation, expansion, and monetization while partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will operate as a true division leader, building systems, teams, and strategies that compound over time.
What You'll Do
- Lead and scale the Growth engineering organization, spanning multiple teams.
- Own the technical strategy and execution for GTM enablement, onboarding, experimentation, activation, and monetization systems.
- Drive a product-led growth engine, including freemium-to-paid conversion, packaging, and expansion workflows.
- Build platforms and tooling that support onboarding and managing customers with thousands of assets across multiple sites.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to design and build scalable growth infrastructure across the GTM funnel.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and engineers while setting a high bar for delivery, quality, and impact.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading growth, onboarding, or marketplace teams to deliver consumer or business products.
- Track record of building and scaling organizations with multiple managers and teams; including hiring, performance management, and career development.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to guide architecture, tradeoffs, and execution for complex software systems.
- Product and data driven mindset; who uses data, experimentation, and customer insight to drive decisions.
- Experience building 0→1 systems and scaling them as customer complexity and volume increase.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility.
Nice to Have
- Experience in building agentic solutions, B2B software, Product Led Growth, or Marketplaces is a plus.
