As Head of Community & Growth, you'll define how players discover, connect with, and stay engaged in an innovative platform that turns conversation into interactive story adventures. Your voice and strategy will shape public perception across social platforms, turning early interest into lasting participation.
What You'll Do
You’ll lead all aspects of community development and user growth, from crafting compelling narratives on social media to building relationships with early adopters. You’ll regularly experience the platform firsthand by creating and playing games to deeply understand the user journey. You'll manage presence across Discord, Reddit, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and niche forums like Product Hunt and gaming communities.
Create and publish updates, announcements, and behind-the-scenes content that reflect the platform’s creative spirit. Edit and share short videos highlighting gameplay and creation workflows. Monitor sentiment, respond to feedback, and moderate discussions while identifying key advocates, moderators, and influencers to amplify reach. Use data to track engagement and conversion, refining strategies based on performance. Collaborate with the product team to align launches and messaging, and organize in-platform events or challenges when opportunities arise.
Requirements
- Experience managing online communities and social channels for a game or gaming studio
- Track record of driving measurable user growth and sustained engagement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to set goals, track outcomes, and report clearly
- Sensitivity to community culture, tone, and authentic interaction
- Proven skill in storytelling and content creation, especially video
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Hands-on experience producing short-form video for TikTok or similar platforms
