About the Role

Tomorrow.io is hiring a Director of Government Sales, Aviation & Maritime to lead our public-sector air and sea transport vertical globally. In this role, you will build partnerships with Civil Aviation Authorities, Air Navigation Service Providers, Port Authorities, and Ministries to advance modernization, forecasting, and green transport initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to meet with customers, partners, and government stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end aviation and maritime sales cycle, from prospecting to closing multi-year public-sector contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Civil Aviation Authorities, Air Navigation Service Providers, Port Authorities, and related ministries.
  • Lead channel and partner management to drive growth in priority markets.
  • Manage RFPs, tenders, and donor-funded programs from organizations like ICAO, IMO, World Bank, ADB, and JICA.
  • Represent Tomorrow.io at aviation and maritime industry events worldwide.
  • Work cross-functionally to tailor solutions for airspace, port, and coastal infrastructure modernization.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in English.
  • 10+ years of government or institutional sales experience.
  • Proven success selling to public-sector or enterprise customers.
  • Knowledge of airspace and port operations, ICAO/IMO frameworks, and modernization programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex public tenders and donor-funded initiatives.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with government and international organizations.
  • Consistent record of quota achievement and data-driven pipeline management.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up or growth-stage environment.
  • Self-motivated, strategic, and execution-oriented, with strong ownership and mission focus.

Nice to Have

  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience in SaaS, data, or tech solutions.
  • Experience in aviation or maritime industries is highly valued.
