Horizon3.ai seeks a Director of FP&A to establish our financial planning and analysis capability from the ground up. In this role, you will design processes, implement tools, and create frameworks to guide data-driven decision-making at scale for our fast-growing cybersecurity company. You will be a key partner to executives, providing financial insights, scenario planning, and forecasting that enable strategic growth.
What You'll Do
- Build and own the FP&A function, establishing forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes from scratch.
- Partner closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations to align resources with company strategy.
- Develop multi-year models and run scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Define, track, and analyze operational KPIs to ensure the business scales efficiently and profitably.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages, presenting to executives and the board.
- Select and implement FP&A software and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Provide real-time insights and recommendations to support the company's growth trajectory.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking.
- Proven ability to create financial processes, tools, and reporting from scratch in a scaling environment.
- Strong modeling skills and ability to interpret complex data into clear recommendations.
- Exceptional ability to translate financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity companies.
- Experience with modern FP&A tools, BI platforms, and ERP systems.
