MaintainX is hiring a Director of Engineering for a high-impact, visible leadership role central to our next phase of growth. You will lead and scale the growth engineering organization, owning the end-to-end growth engine from acquisition to monetization.
What You'll Do
- Lead and scale the Growth engineering organization, spanning multiple teams.
- Own the technical strategy and execution for GTM enablement, onboarding, experimentation, activation, and monetization systems.
- Drive a product-led growth engine, including freemium-to-paid conversion, packaging, and expansion workflows.
- Build platforms and tooling that support onboarding and managing customers with thousands of assets across multiple sites.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to design and build scalable growth infrastructure across the GTM funnel.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and engineers while setting a high bar for delivery, quality, and impact.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading growth, onboarding or marketplace teams to deliver consumer or business products.
- Track record of building and scaling organizations with multiple managers and teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to guide architecture, tradeoffs, and execution for complex software systems.
- Product and data driven mindset; who uses data, experimentation, and customer insight to drive decisions.
- Experience building 0→1 systems and scaling them as customer complexity and volume increase.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility.
Nice to Have
- Experience in building agentic solutions, B2B software, Product Led Growth, or Marketplaces is a plus.
