KIND is looking for a Director, Institutional Development to drive the strategy and execution of our institutional fundraising efforts. This role is central to expanding our resources and impact.
What You'll Do
- Develop and lead a comprehensive institutional fundraising strategy.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with foundation and government partners.
- Research and identify new institutional funding opportunities.
- Oversee the grant lifecycle from proposal development to reporting.
- Collaborate with program teams to align funding proposals with organizational priorities.
- Track and analyze fundraising performance metrics.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive experience in institutional fundraising or development.
- Proven track record of securing and managing six- and seven-figure grants.
- Deep understanding of the philanthropic and government funding landscape.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic planning and project management abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain productive, long-term partnerships.
