KIND is looking for a Director, Institutional Development to drive the strategy and execution of our institutional fundraising efforts. This role is central to expanding our resources and impact.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive institutional fundraising strategy.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with foundation and government partners.
  • Research and identify new institutional funding opportunities.
  • Oversee the grant lifecycle from proposal development to reporting.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align funding proposals with organizational priorities.
  • Track and analyze fundraising performance metrics.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in institutional fundraising or development.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing six- and seven-figure grants.
  • Deep understanding of the philanthropic and government funding landscape.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive, long-term partnerships.
