Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Director of Executive Compensation to provide strategic leadership within executive reward and compensation. This role will lead the design and delivery of executive and senior management compensation programs, partnering with executive stakeholders, HR, finance, and external advisors.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, delivery, and management of executive and senior management compensation programs, including bonus schemes and equity plans.
- Partner with executives to develop incentive strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Manage equity-based and cash-based incentive programs in collaboration with Finance, Tax, Legal, and external advisors, including participant communications.
- Serve as the reward representative in M&A and corporate transactions, contributing to due diligence, integration planning, retention structures, and reward harmonization.
- Assess and recommend executive compensation approaches for target companies during M&A activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop compensation team members, providing subject matter expertise and guidance.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and influence senior leaders on compensation strategy and execution.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in executive compensation.
- Strong expertise in equity plan design, management, and administration, including understanding of legal, tax, and accounting considerations.
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and commercial skills.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to provide trusted thought leadership while delivering pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in executive compensation within privately owned or high-growth businesses with management equity schemes.
- Experience in M&A reward workstreams and corporate transactions.
- Background in private equity-backed or high-growth technology businesses.
