Scout Motors is looking for a Director, Consultant Relations to lead efforts in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with healthcare benefit brokers and consultants. You will act as a vital feedback loop and liaison between the consultant community and the company, driving initiatives to enhance market presence and strengthen partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Develop and cultivate relationships with key healthcare practice and consultant leaders across national and regional consulting firms.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to enhance the organization's market reach and influence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align partnership efforts with business objectives and goals.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of consultant relation professionals.
- Foster a high performance culture, ensuring team members have the necessary skills, resources and support to succeed.
- Set clear goals, expectations and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all consultant relations.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing partners and develop new relationships to expand our network.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and training sessions with partners to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales tactics.
- Monitor partner performance and develop strategies to optimize collaboration and outcomes.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive and effective partnership initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to support partnership goals and objectives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives.
- Regularly report on partnership activities, outcomes, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine and improve partnership strategies and tactics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the healthcare benefits industry, with significant experience in benefits consulting.
- Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships with healthcare benefits brokers and consultants.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a focus on driving business growth and value.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support partnership initiatives, 50% travel.
- Active work authorization in the US.

- Compensation: $179,000 - $210,000 per year + equity
