TaskUs is seeking a Director, Commercial Contract Management to lead the negotiation of service agreements with our clients. This role partners closely with Sales, Client Service, and functional teams to support business growth by drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements and related contracts.
What You'll Do
- Draft and negotiate Master Service Agreements and related agreements with TaskUs’ clients.
- Build positive and lasting relationships with stakeholders using strong interpersonal skills.
- Apply strong analytical skills and problem-solving to resolve complex legal issues.
- Work with a sense of urgency to complete all assignments.
- Identify, analyze and evaluate risks to provide appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrate leadership and seek continuous process improvement.
- Contribute to the development of contracting best practices across a large global enterprise.
- Collaborate effectively with legal, finance, operations, sales, IT, client services and security teams.
- Collaborate with outside counsel to complete contracts in multiple international locations.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience in a business process outsourcing environment, Fortune 500 company or elite law firm.
- A law degree from an accredited law school in your country.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience drafting and negotiating multiple complex commercial agreements, including business process outsourcing, consulting, crowdsourcing agreements, and technology agreements.
- Skill in negotiating agreements directly with clients without extensive oversight.
- Experience with intellectual property, licensing, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with outside counsel.
- Emotional intelligence.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience providing timely advice and direction to business leaders.
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
