About the Role

Gartner, Inc. is hiring a Director Analyst specializing in Infrastructure Security and Networking. In this role, you will act as an industry thought leader, creating essential research and providing advice to a broad range of world-leading organizations. You will focus on the emerging technologies that enable Infrastructure & Operations teams to innovate and build a foundation for growth.

What You'll Do

  • Research, analyze, and predict market trends to provide both end-user organizations and vendors with actionable insights.
  • Stay ahead of developments within infrastructure security and adjacent areas of emerging technology.
  • Collaboratively write and publish evidence-based research and positions at a regular cadence.
  • Communicate complex concepts concisely and with authority to senior-level executives in virtual or face-to-face settings.
  • Present at multiple conferences as an acknowledged industry expert.
  • Partner with sales and service delivery teams to increase account growth, retention, and engagement.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field with a focus on designing and implementing infrastructure security for forward-leaning organizations.
  • Ability to formulate and articulate technology and business adoption scenarios that help senior IT leaders understand opportunities, risks, and approaches for security and networking technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of emerging security models including SASE, SSE, and Zero Trust, plus expertise in the design and optimization of secure data networking.
  • Knowledge of the major security infrastructure and services offerings from both US-based and international providers, as well as emerging vendors and technologies.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in Canada or Europe.
