Responsibilities
- Oversee the video production and distribution schedules for the Grizzlies, including all shoot and edit calendars.
- Coordinate feature productions within the video content team, handling pre- and post-production needs, setup, teardown, and internal reviews.
- Assist in distributing and trafficking all programming for Grind City Media, Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Hustle, and FedExForum, including live and feature video, podcasts, and written content.
- Support administrative tasks for the GCM and video broadcast departments as needed.
- Produce and distribute content in real time during Memphis Grizzlies games.
- Serve as the video production liaison, maintaining relationships with key internal partners such as digital, social, email, live entertainment, community, and partnerships to ensure high-quality presentation and distribution of branded entertainment and video content.
- Shoot and edit short-form features for the Grizzlies, Hustle, Grizz Gaming, and Grind City Media, including media availabilities and press conferences, involving camera operation, producing, and post-production.
- Facilitate footage requests to and from the NBA and other vendors, partners, and outside sources, along with research and footage acquisition as assigned.
- Assist with large-scale production shoots, including ideation, planning, development, and execution.
- Log footage for archives and production features, and perform other production duties as needed.
- Stay informed about team and league storylines, including thorough knowledge of previous Grizzlies games, to assist supervisors and department producers with feature and programming production.
