EVIDENT Europe GmbH is hiring a Digital Pathology Sales Specialist (m/f/d) for the EMEA region. Your mission is to build and expand our digital pathology customer base, achieving growth aligned with company plans. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
What You'll Do
- Build and expand Evident’s Digital Pathology customer base within the EMEA region, achieving growth aligned with company plans.
- Work in coordination with other team members within a matrixed management organization.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share in digital pathology within the region.
- Qualify customer interest and needs, identifying decision makers and stakeholders, and mapping technical, operational, and financial requirements.
- Introduce Evident’s digital pathology portfolio to potential clients through presentations and simple product demonstrations.
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas by building a robust pipeline of prospects and closing new business.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their pathology workflows and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with specialist teams and partners for product demonstrations, workflow discussions, ROI analysis, and tender support.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in digital pathology.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through sales delivery and support assistance.
- Attend conferences and congresses, coordinating demos, reference site visits, installs, and customer training as required.
- Partner with customer care, technical support, and service to ensure smooth post-sales implementation and ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the SFDC system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the regional sales manager and participate in sales meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Life Sciences, Biomedical engineering, biotechnology, or similar) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in digital pathology, medical devices, healthcare IT software, or life sciences.
- Leadership presence and business acumen with an understanding of digital pathology systems and their software applications.
- Proven success in a previous sales capacity, using consultative selling skills, with demonstrated leadership and communication excellence.
- Strong presence and communication ability, with skill in creating and presenting impactful group presentations.
- Negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Histopathology or related experience.
- Digital Pathology industry experience.
- Medical devices or other IVD regulated products sales.
- Clinical laboratory sales experience or healthcare IT.
- Background in IT or technology sales.
- Strategic selling or large account management process experience.
