Boys & Girls Clubs of America is hiring a Digital Marketing Strategist

ORGANIZATION MISSION: The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast is to provide high-quality, out-of-school Club experiences to ensure our young people, especially those who need us most, are on track to graduate from high school with a plan for their future, demonstrate good character & citizenship, and live a healthy lifestyle. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Digital Marketing Strategist is a key member of the Marketing team. The Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS) will help us expand our digital footprint, leverage our brand, and engage the local community in our mission. This is a dynamic position with the primary function of serving as the creative lead for the organization’s social channels, digital platforms, and corporate/community partner engagement. Under the guidance and support of the Chief Marketing Officer, the DMS will play a vital part in translating annual digital marketing strategies and social communication plans into compelling content with stunning visuals that engage primary audiences, educate the public, and encourage support from the greater Tampa Bay region. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Drafting annual content calendar in coordination with Chief Marketing Officer. • Working with Chief Marketing Officer on Annual Digital Marketing Strategy. • Designing graphics sized for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. • Recording and editing videos for Reels, Stories, TikTok, and YouTube. • Building a photo library with pictures taken in our Clubs and at events. • Scheduling, consistently posting, and engaging with platform audiences, including responding to messages, comments, tags, and shares. • Researching digital marketing trends, including hashtags, campaigns, cause awareness days/months, and social media holidays. • Identifying opportunities in the digital space (community collabs, influencer partnership). • Assisting with collateral design, press releases, and media opportunities. • Maintaining/editing/updating organization website. • Serving as primary contact for community activation partnerships (national and local). • Assisting with PR/Media efforts with contracted partners. QUALIFICATIONS: • B.A. or advanced degree in related field preferred (Communications, Advertising, Marketing). • Proficiency in managing social media platform tools, specifically Sprout Social and Canva. • Understanding of Wix and/or Wordpress website platform or willingness to learn. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Photography and videography skills. • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms. • Creative flair for content, staging, and graphics. • Organized and able to multitask. • Tech savvy and initiative-taking about learning/using new tools. TRAVEL: Travel will be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Pinellas County for training and/or other business purposes.
