Ask Athena is hiring a Digital Direct Channel Coordinator to scale and monetize our owned media channels. You will optimize Email, SMS, WhatsApp Marketing, Marketing Automation, and SEO to decrease paid media dependency and increase their contribution to revenue and customer relationships. You will operate and optimize audiences from our CRM/CDP, ensuring journey orchestration and deliverability excellence.
What You'll Do
- Build the regional Email/SMS/WhatsApp and SEO plan by country/channel; calendarize BAU, seasonal campaigns, and peak events.
- Define guidelines for frequency, segmentation, creativity, and consent standards (opt‑in/opt‑out) per channel.
- Align objectives and priorities with the Marketing & Customer Product Owner.
- Orchestrate journeys and automations (welcome, abandonment, winback, post‑purchase, recurrence, cross‑sell) using CRM/CDP audiences.
- Manage sends, templates, and catalogs (ESP/BSP); safeguard reputation and deliverability (warm‑up, DKIM/SPF/DMARC, lists).
- Coordinate SMS/WhatsApp templates, costs per country, and compliance with privacy policies.
- Develop the SEO backlog (on‑page/technical/semantic), internal linking, and evergreen content; coordinate with Ecommerce and Content teams.
- Monitor indexing, Core Web Vitals, and Search Console; propose tests and quick wins by country/category.
- Work closely with the ecommerce product owner on these initiatives.
- Define taxonomy/UTMs and Power BI dashboards for attribution and incremental analysis of owned vs paid media; track KPIs (OR/CTR, CVR, UPT, LTV, R12).
- Consolidate reports by country/channel and present actionable findings and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with local Marketing/Sales, CRM/CDP, and Performance teams; train on best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships (ESP, WhatsApp BSP, SEO tools) and evaluate releases/POCs with a focus on value and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Commercial Engineering, Civil/Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in direct marketing, CRM, or SEO.
- Knowledge of SEO and managing digital direct channel campaigns using 1st party data.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (required).
Nice to Have
- Regional or multi‑country experience.
- 1+ year coordinating direct channels or marketing automation.
- Knowledge of ESP (email), WhatsApp BSP; CDP/CRM; GA4/GTM; Power BI; Google Search Console; advanced Excel/Sheets; basic SQL for data validation.
- Advanced English.
- Familiarity with Insider.
