Audacy, Inc. seeks a Digital Content Producer for its Dallas team. This role requires a highly motivated and creative audio and video producer who can identify viral moments and news to drive user engagement and listening. The ideal candidate has a sharp instinct for what fans engage with, mastery of production best practices, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage the daily (Monday-Friday) live video stream
- Leverage over-the-air content into short and long-form podcast clips and VOD content
- Use creative headline copy and tagging concepts to build customized user experiences that drive downloads and cultivate "superfans"
- Produce and publish weekly "Best of" episodes by compiling the top segments from the show
- Work with central digital and local-market staff on workflows for optimizing top content clips, such as isolating exclusive interviews
- Activate around breaking news by quickly getting reaction content onto user platforms
- Partner with local staff to maximize Audacy’s ‘chaptering’ experience
- Contribute topics and ideas for the show
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of audio production and editing experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Audition and video editing software
- Sports knowledge, including current and historical figures and storylines
- Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to drive engagement for both local and national audiences
- Strong news judgment, including the ability to make real-time decisions and react independently around breaking or viral audio
Nice to Have
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience with VMIX, OBS, and/or Tricaster
