Cleveland Clinic Health System is hiring a Digital Content Creator I to provide daily written content for a dedicated section of our website. You'll develop weekly assignments that focus on creating trustworthy, easy-to-understand health information aligned with our standards for accuracy and clarity.
What You'll Do
- Write accurate, high-quality medical content consistent with Cleveland Clinic’s brand voice.
- Research health topics and interview clinical sources.
- Translate complex medical and scientific information into accessible language for patients and the general public.
- Understand style guides and SEO keyword best practices.
- Consistently meet writing deadlines.
- Incorporate edits from subject matter experts, including medical reviewers, into finished copies.
- Seek out and engage regularly with peers, creating an environment of exchange and learning.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- One year of experience writing, editing, researching and preparing material for publication
- OR High School/GED and five years of experience
- OR Associate’s degree and three years of experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with an ability to prioritize, solve problems and set expectations.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, English, healthcare or closely related field.
- Understanding of style guides and SEO keyword best practices.
- Healthcare experience.

Team & Environment
You'll collaborate closely with SEO, operations, and graphics teams, as well as partners across Marketing & Communications and departments throughout Cleveland Clinic.
