Position Responsibilities: - Concentrate on electrical design, simulation, verification, and validation of high-speed printed circuit board and electronic system - Lead comprehensive product development cycles - Facilitate collaboration across interdisciplinary engineering teams - Maintain awareness of emerging industry practices and technological innovations This role necessitates obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret clearance post-employment is mandatory. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Relevant experience: 3+ years for level 3, 5+ years for level 4, 10+ years for level 5 - Proficiency in Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools like Mentor Graphics, Altium, PSPICE for schematic capture, PCB design, layout, and circuit simulation - Demonstrated experience designing, testing, and integrating digital circuit card assemblies - Bachelor of Science degree from accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Advanced expertise in Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design - Proficiency in concurrent engineering and Design for Manufacture/Assembly techniques - HyperLynx Signal Integrity and Power Integrity experience - Comprehensive high-speed digital circuit design skills - Extensive knowledge of Printed Wiring Boards, rigid flex boards, and harness design - Advanced degrees preferred (MSEE, MSCE) - Aerospace design technique familiarity - Capability to develop design verification plans and perform system integration - Processor board and complex digital design experience - Proficiency in circuit analysis tools - Understanding of high-speed serial interface protocols - FPGA sizing and power support skills - Strong PCB manufacturing design comprehension - Signal integrity analysis expertise - Digital high-speed design verification capabilities - Mentorship abilities in digital high-speed design - Siemens Expedition Tool experience - Leadership in electrical design team - Providing comprehensive design guidelines - Hardware-Software Integration and Validation experience - Electronics design troubleshooting skills Typical Education & Experience: Levels 3, 4, and 5 require advanced technical education from accredited programs, with increasing work experience requirements.
