Perform detailed SPICE-based simulations and analyze circuit waveforms to validate MOSFET performance across various applications. Utilize tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, and Simetrix to model and refine device behavior in real-world conditions.
What You'll Do
- Estimate power loss and thermal characteristics using PLECS and Excel-based models to support system-level efficiency analysis
- Develop and implement test setups for characterizing Si Power MOSFETs in laboratory environments
- Conduct hands-on device evaluation to generate performance data and validate design assumptions
- Create technical documentation such as application notes, reference designs, and presentation materials to communicate product value
- Engage directly with customers to understand system requirements and provide technical solutions
- Collaborate with marketing and product management to influence roadmap decisions and drive product improvements
- Support customer inquiries with detailed analysis, simulations, and timely responses
- Travel to customer sites in Taiwan to conduct technical discussions and strengthen business relationships
- Propose innovations for new products and system-level solutions based on market and application insights
Requirements
Proficiency in simulation tools including PSpice, LTSpice, Simetrix, and PLECS is essential. Strong analytical skills in power electronics and experience with MOSFET evaluation are required.
