Air Liquide is seeking a Digital and Business Data Analyst to drive a critical modernization effort at one of our production facilities. In this role, you will support the IT tool transition process by analyzing current systems and converting data and business processes to modern tools, ensuring full business continuity while collaborating closely with operations and digital teams.
What You'll Do
- Analyze the current Aalter ERP system (dBase) and related spin-off tools, converting data and processes to SAP and other new tools.
- Ensure business continuity by transferring data from Excel to platforms like Google Sheets or PowerBI.
- Work on systems including product track & trace, transport documents, product references, and production order planning.
- Prepare data for migration, conduct user acceptance testing, measure KPIs, and manage project and order follow-up.
- Manage the overlap between old and new ways of working to minimize visible impact for customers.
- Adjust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reduce administrative load by creating more automated processes and files.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree.
- Proficiency with digital tools and ERP systems (e.g., Google Sheets; preference for SAP and PowerBI).
- Programming skills in languages such as Python and Javascript.
- Eagerness to deep dive and understand data and underlying business processes.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and proactively suggest solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple interfaces (digital team, project team, production team).
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have

- Proficiency in Dutch or French.

You will join a team of 7 highly motivated persons and will have a supporting link with the regional Digital and Data team.

This is an onsite position with Aalter (close to Gent) as your home base. Occasional visits to locations such as Brussel for meetings with the data team and other stakeholders are required.
