About the Role

Middle Seat is seeking a Digital Advertising Intern for Fall 2025 (September - November). This is a paid opportunity to join our advertising team, working directly on digital campaigns for progressive causes and candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Traffic digital ads
  • Write ad copy and petitions
  • Pull together performance reports
  • Analyze ad performance data
  • Handle some administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

  • Excitement about working with left-wing and Democratic clients
  • Enjoyment in testing creative options and analyzing performance data
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new tools easily
  • A detail-oriented and organized approach
  • Status as a senior, in your last year of an undergraduate program, or a recent graduate
  • Commitment to working for progressive political campaigns
  • A collaborative, team-player mindset
  • Ability to follow daily news with a solid understanding of the U.S. political system, campaigns, and key progressive issues
  • Commitment to full-time (40 hours/week) or near full-time availability with consistent hours Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM ET
  • Based in the United States

Nice to Have

  • Background in social media management or digital advertising
  • Experience working on a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit
  • Some experience with Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
  • Fantastic writing skills
