Middle Seat is seeking a Digital Advertising Intern for Fall 2025 (September - November). This is a paid opportunity to join our advertising team, working directly on digital campaigns for progressive causes and candidates.
What You'll Do
- Traffic digital ads
- Write ad copy and petitions
- Pull together performance reports
- Analyze ad performance data
- Handle some administrative tasks
What We're Looking For
- Excitement about working with left-wing and Democratic clients
- Enjoyment in testing creative options and analyzing performance data
- Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new tools easily
- A detail-oriented and organized approach
- Status as a senior, in your last year of an undergraduate program, or a recent graduate
- Commitment to working for progressive political campaigns
- A collaborative, team-player mindset
- Ability to follow daily news with a solid understanding of the U.S. political system, campaigns, and key progressive issues
- Commitment to full-time (40 hours/week) or near full-time availability with consistent hours Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM ET
- Based in the United States
Nice to Have
- Background in social media management or digital advertising
- Experience working on a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit
- Some experience with Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
- Fantastic writing skills
