Fresenius Medical Care North America is looking for a Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dedicated clinical team. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment as part of a cross-functional team.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment.
- Gather patient stats before and after treatment, initiate treatment, monitor patients during treatment, terminate treatment, and collect patient blood samples per physician orders.
- Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments, clean and disinfect machines after treatment, and conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control.
- Use appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
- Participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
Team & Environment
You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) as part of a cross-functional team.
