Zoetis US LLC is hiring a Diagnostics Solutions Consultant

About the Role

Zoetis US LLC is looking for a Diagnostics Solutions Consultant to be a field-based, customer-facing member of our sales team. You will be responsible for selling our diagnostic instruments, tests, and services within an assigned territory while building lasting customer relationships to maximize retention.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve budgeted sales quotas within targeted accounts in your assigned territory.
  • Update and maintain sales pipeline and customer profile data within TP/Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with other Zoetis colleagues to achieve goals and support the diagnostics business.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Diagnostic products and services.
  • Travel to existing and prospective customer offices, targeting 3-4 existing customers and 1-2 new business opportunities per day.
  • Document all customer and prospect interactions via the online system.
  • Transport, lift, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic equipment and solutions.
  • Clearly explain the uses, benefits, and value proposition of products and services.
  • Secure purchase orders for diagnostic products and services.
  • Provide ongoing customer support in-person, over the phone, and via email for product, technical, or service concerns.
  • Make periodic courtesy calls to keep clients informed of new products and services.
  • Interface with sales, accounting, and technical staff to ensure timely responses to customer needs.
  • Work cooperatively with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to ensure strong customer service.
  • Generate new business leads by placing instruments in competitor accounts, academia, and research settings.
  • Support billing and collection efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience.
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
  • Ability to safely lift and move 60 lbs.
  • Must speak fluent English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the medical, scientific, or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with a science or business emphasis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in veterinary terminology or science.
  • Demonstrated skills selling capital equipment in physician or veterinary clinics.
